Review on 🍳 TOAKS Titanium 2L Pot with Bail Handle by Jimmy Bores

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Terrible spot welding, cheap and fragile construction

The spot welding on this boiler is terribly fragile. The bow handle broke very easily. Normally I would just weld it back on. Since it's titanium, I couldn't personally repair the weld. I ended up having to drill two holes in the pan to attach the new handle. The pot itself will flex to some extent when hung by the handle with significant weight, causing the lid to move. . The lid also has horrible spot welds that the handle attaches to and a very cheap triangle that also falls off over time. I'm still not sure how to solve this problem. I ended up continuing to use this pot because its weight to volume ratio makes it preferable to its stainless counterpart, but I sincerely regret the day I bought it and have dropped other more durable options. I am very disappointed in TOAKS and will buy competitor products if I choose titanium cookware in the future.
