Easily feeds 4-5 hungry hikers

I was looking for an "ultra-light" pot that would allow me to cook a large meal for several people. I have a smaller Toak that I love for personal use, but this one is great for groups. I can cook enough food here to feed 4-5 tourists after a long day. Try Andrew Skurka's Bean Rice recipe in this pot - you'll love it!

Good pot but wall is a little thin

Agree with some reviews, the thinness of the material and the design of the pot rim allows the pot to flex slightly with little pressure compared to the Kieth brand. The Keith Titanium Pot I bought has a 2.5 liter capacity and I wanted something smaller, half the size. This pot is the perfect size. I just wish it was made a little more reliable. It's still usable.

This is a kettle - pots, pans and pans

Bought to melt water over a fire during a winter hike. Very light as expected. I think the lid is the downside of this product. It tends to slip off easily if the pot isn't perfectly level. The tiny lid handle naturally rests on the side, making it difficult to handle with gloves when you want to open the lid, which often happens during snowmelt. However, these are minor complaints. Because it's titanium, you can put it directly into the fire without fear of damage, and it's very light for…

Lid doesn't fit like a bug in a cozy rug

I liked everything about this pot except the lid which didn't fit well. While this doesn't seem to be a problem for many users of this pot, it worries me. I guess after a few trips with my MSR Titan kettle, which still has a tight lid, I think I'm spoiled. I love how the lid slides into the lip groove and STAYS there, which activates "steaming" through the soaking holes when the water is boiling at maximum power. I also like the tight lid when the pot is outside, which helps ensure it's quiet…

Terrible spot welding, cheap and fragile construction

The spot welding on this boiler is terribly fragile. The bow handle broke very easily. Normally I would just weld it back on. Since it's titanium, I couldn't personally repair the weld. I ended up having to drill two holes in the pan to attach the new handle. The pot itself will flex to some extent when hung by the handle with significant weight, causing the lid to move. . The lid also has horrible spot welds that the handle attaches to and a very cheap triangle that also falls off over time…

  • There are nuances

A specialized item to suit all needs

Last time in the field I dealt with a full bear tin can and all the attendant junk of my culinary pocket meals. I figured there must be a better way. After doing some math, I figured I could get a larger pot (this one) along with some titanium plates and save space in my bear jar by repackaging dehydrated foods (Berghaus) into lighter, denser plastic bags. Then I just cook the food in the pan itself. By getting rid of the oversized and heavy food packaging, I get a lot more in my bear jar. As a
