Better for dogs/ food that comes in bigger pieces
The grooves in this bowl are DEEP, so I would actually not recommend this for cats/ small dogs, or small food kibbles as my cat can’t even reach the food down in the grooves. The bowl isn’t flat on the bottom, so it kind of swivels and turns as your pet’s head moves in it. It comes apart, so I ended up taking the grooves out, and the swivel/turning motion kind of helped to slow my cat down.
