internal drive fails and is difficult or expensive to replace. They're better for all occasions than other cases I've tried and they're reasonably priced. They are strong, secure and have additional compartments/strap for things like USB cables, DVDs, documents etc. The zipper seems to be well made and works well. There is a nice little carrying strap that attaches to the zip ring with a carabiner claw. I have bought several of these and they have always been good. Can't speak for durability but I like it better than other similar cases I've tried. This suitcase seems to be more robust, more spacious but not too bulky. Has MUCH more room to plug in things like a USB cable. Finally, I like the zipper better on this one and have a better feeling that it will last longer. I haven't tested the water resistance, but it looks, feels, and certainly feels waterproof enough to protect the drive from splashes. .
