Exceptional design and build quality, from the spring clamp, gooseneck, cable clamps, windscreen/shock mount and of course the mic capsule itself. Oh, and an XLR to mini XLR adapter with switchable low rolloff. Sounds great when I pin it on my lapel and point it at the kalimba (thumb piano). Provides a really useful, rich pickup across a wide range of input levels, from deep resonant tones to the high-pitched rasp of my rough fingers slipping off metal keys or the cracking of my fingernail. SPL pickup, looking forward to cutting the congas and focusing each drum pickup to enhance the tone and be able to mix my own soundstage or use a rhythm part to later in the to underpin other songs in the future. I weighed them up against the AKG C411 for instrument pickups and chose them for their greater versatility. This kit includes a mini XLR adapter so I will have that in my kit for future mic purchases.
