I purchased two Western Enterprises QDB33 quick disconnect units and received them on 09/02/21. Valve stated on both the Western Enterprise website and this product publication. The is the main reason I buy them. I have an argon tank and a C25 tank connected to the valve. Y to power my machine is GMAW (mig). Sometimes I need less CO2 in my gas so I switch mine Argon tank on at the appropriate flow rate so that the mixture mixes to about 95% Ar and 5% CO2 In the past I have suspected that my tank regulators were allowing the lower pressure reservoir to let in some gas from the higher pressure reservoir, when both Y-valves were open because the regulators themselves did not have adequate manipulation valves This is the main reason for the need for these check valves/quick connects A g Big disappointment due to the lack of a check valve on these devices.
