Worked great on a Dell Inspiron 5675 desktop!

My Dell Inspiron 5675 came with a 16GB Micron Ram Flash Drive installed when I bought it. I just finally upgraded the RAM to prepare for the upcoming Oculus Rift S. This meant both adding more system RAM and installing two sticks of RAM to keep the processor in dual-channel mode with the memory. AMD Ryzen processors do an excellent job in dual-channel mode, performance can boast. This begs the question: Why do manufacturers of standard gaming machines like DELL and HP ship 8GB and 16GB systems with just one RAM stick instead of two smaller sticks (2x8GB = 16GB and 2x4GB = 8GB). ? My guess is that this makes upgrading RAM less expensive than I did (and less expensive for the computer manufacturer), but for people who never touch the hardware in their computers they are missing out on a performance boost. Anyway, I've adjusted the Micron stick specs for this Hynix stick and they work great together. The CPU-Z software reports that it's running at 1197.1MHz in dual-channel mode, so that's 2400MHz in perfect harmony. I also upgraded another standard gaming system earlier this week with an 8GB Hynix stick (HP Pavilion 690-024) with great results, leaving me confident that this Timetec memory manufacturer makes very compatible memory. This is good because Ryzen processors can be more picky about RAM than Intel processors. Their lifetime warranty is also important, but knock wood, I don't need to check.
