This delicate baby is very high quality and durable. The chassis (body) is made of alloy and is very durable. This device doesn't seem cheap at all. The drive speeds are all available and have been tested. The cord is small but very dense and will not deteriorate in the near future. If cable size is an issue, I recommend purchasing a longer USB 3.0 cable. The hard drive itself can be easily replaced if necessary (4 Phillips screws). The hard drive fits all 2.5 inch hard drives except 15mm. I don't worry about a hard drive failure as long as the thing is dangling in my work bag. I've dropped the hard drive a few times with no issues. The drive is 100% working and tested every time I drop it. The device claims to be waterproof. From what I saw opening the case it actually looks like it could be waterproof for a certain amount of time or depth. I have not verified that the device is truly waterproof. But if I spilled my drink on it, I wouldn't mind seeing it sealed. Packaging was professional, shipping was quick and easy as always.
