Wow! My wife needed a stand for her new laptop. I did some research and saw the Roost and Nextstand models which were the top rated models. However, I wanted something really solid so the whole thing wouldn't tip over if the rig was bumped (like a kid walking by and hitting your table). I find the equipment well done if you don't have problems, which seems hard to find these days. We received this stand and right away it looks like a Lexus of laptop stands - it really is a beauty. It's fully adjustable. And when you adjust it to the height and angle you want, IT STAYS. It has ribs to hold the laptop securely and strong silicone rubber pads on both the bottom and the laptop tray to keep it from moving. This is EXACTLY what I wanted. The only possible downside is that it's a bit heavier than the 2 folding coasters mentioned above (I can see the benefit of this feature). However, this stand is foldable and fits nicely in my wife's laptop bag. I love this stand so much! Note: I should add that if you ever drop this stand, it almost certainly will never break - and you won't have any plastic parts that come loose! (Higher chance of making a dent in your wood floor! - LOVE IT)
