As mentioned by the other two, the supplied hex head screws are not the correct threads but close enough to be confused with the correct threads. Check them with your fingers before using a wrench so you don't damage the internal threads in your manifold. Another observation: the vertical angle must have been determined by looking at an old design (perhaps a '55-'57 Chevy?) The angle is too high. cool for something modern like my '74 Hornet. Quality and finish are very acceptable. This gave me the ability to use a thermometer under the top radiator hose and set the outlet direction to the radiator.
