I made 196 scans of very old newspapers (1930's) with excellent results. The device has been used for many hours.
Since some of the items to be scanned were interlaced, the wide margins where the image didn't land were a small drawback. However, I did 196 scans of very old newspapers (1930's) with excellent results. The device has been used for many hours each day, so it holds up well on a charge. The small viewing window was too blurry to tell if the scans were good. However, the results were excellent.
