The day after I wrote my review below the product stopped working. I checked the wiring and the power supply, but everything was fine. I took the second one and plugged it in but it still didn't work. Eventually I replaced the thermostat with a toggle switch and the fan came on. These items do not appear to be stable so I have downgraded my rating to 2 stars. First review - I installed this to control a 12v fan in my attic. That works great. It illuminates when the temperature is 2°F above the set point and turns off when it falls below the set point. It works very well in my shed, powered by a 12 volt battery charged by solar panels. This is a great inexpensive way to control a fan from a battery.
