Review on Cleanlogic Sustainable Exfoliating Pouf Pack by Alison Jackson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Spherical like puffs but rough as washcloths, exfoliating and revitalizing can be uncomfortable

These Cleanlogic loofahs are made from organic cotton that has been tied into an irregular spherical loofah sponge that's smaller than a regular loofah -Sponge is nylon stool. The cotton is stiff and feels rather rough, like a natural hard loofah, as opposed to a fairly typical nylon pouf. I have dry skin and I use a lot of scrubs with oils and moisturize it intensively after the shower. My feet are dry and mostly itchy. So I like to use a washcloth from time to time to exfoliate dry skin and remove oily residue from my moisturizers. My first reaction was that I couldn't believe I could take how rough it felt on my skin. and that I can't use it to clean like a normal pouf, mitten, or washcloth. But in the end I liked the invigorating feeling on the surface of my skin in limited areas like legs, shoulders and parts of the back that I could reach. They are too rough to ever use on my face but they exfoliate the body well and my skin felt comfortable and my body felt relaxed after use. Whew, they might appear uncomfortably rough. I think it will be too much exfoliation for me to use daily and I prefer to use one about once a week or as needed when my feet are dry and itchy. I often switch puffs, mittens and loofahs as they contain bacteria so I think that's 3 packs. They should be discarded when the hanging loop changes color, if not sooner. While they're rough and not for everyone, I like them for occasional exfoliation. 4 stars.
