If you only use it with Go Pro, great. But this is for use with a pole and if used with that then it's fine. When conditions are ideal (no wind, flat surface) it works well - holds the pole in place. However, if you add wind or uneven ground, the width of the legs is too short to keep the pole upright and they break easily. It's like the weight of the pole and the GoPro is about the maximum weight the legs can support so it doesn't take a lot of extra pressure to fold the legs. It's not good for outdoor use (unless it's ideal), but would be great for indoor use.
