EDIT! I've had it for almost a year now and the shade of green is driving me crazy. As a digital artist, don't assume that a blue light filter will help you anyway. Whenever Microsoft decides on a whim to reset my display's color calibration, it becomes a nightmare again. Otherwise, this is a regular monitor for gaming and the like that doesn't require color accuracy. I got it yesterday and it works. very well with my laptop (can't wait to connect it to my new tower once it's built). The picture quality is really sharp (although not the best it could be) but there was that weird green cast to the color so I went into my computer settings and did a calibration. Now everything is in order. I will definitely be buying a second one once I have a little more budget to make it stand out. Some things that are important to note. Although it has volume controls, the monitor doesn't have a speaker. You access the options menu and navigate through this menu with different durations of pressing the power button. The power button is also a power LED. I think they are all LCD screens (?). You will see the difference in screen quality. The monitor easily detaches from the neck, however, the neck does not detach from the stand when put on. (Or at least my weak hands can't get it off.) Otherwise, I think a great monitor for the price! (。•̀ᴗ-)✧
