I bought 2 of these a month apart. Each box came like it had been eaten and spat out by a werewolf. The first box had many holes, the straps covering the box were broken, and miraculously the inside didn't fall out during shipping. The second box had a hole so big that someone sealed the entire top half with another box to keep the contents from spilling out. It was more of a tape than a box. On my doorstep, however, the parts were unpacked just as the postman left them. It's a miracle I had all the details. Severe damage to the packaging resulted in damage to the product. Several parts are bent. Luckily this thing is daft easy to put together and some time with a hammer put it all back together. However, one can only guess how damaged yours will be when it arrives. Just because it's metal and unlikely to be seriously damaged doesn't mean such a terrible delivery is normal. I give 3 stars for shipping issues and damage to the product. Another reason I give it 3 stars is that the cut outs are rough. It's easy to cut yourself when assembling. I recommend you wear gloves. Fitting the end caps is awful as the boxes are so badly damaged all the end caps were bent to hell. I had to bend them back into place and assembly took most of the time. Otherwise they are very easy to assemble. After learning it on the first, the second took half the time. I plan to buy more of these to complete my basement space.
