This is not 100% cotton! I understand if it was 100% cotton as advertised it would almost be a steal. I had my doubts when checking the feel and thickness of the fabric, so I did a burn test. 100% cotton does not emit black smoke when burned, does not curl or burn to ash. This fabric smoked, twisted and melted like polyester. It also burned out very quickly (don't worry - I did it outside and threw it in the snow to put it out). I am extremely disappointed. The patterns on this fabric are gorgeous but please do not advertise it as 100% cotton if it is not. It's most likely a mix.
