My Mom bought these slipper socks because they were higher than the normal ones and we were hoping more comfortable. They arrived just in time for the first real "cold front" in South Florida. She wore these slipper socks and kept telling me how comfortable and warm they were for her feet. We are so glad that we ordered two more - one in red and one in gray (we already got the light blue ones). Best purchase and even though we live in South Florida I'm finding Mom will get some great use of them walking around the house plus the product info indicates they are machine washable.a definite plus!
