I have a large makeup and dressing table. I tried to organize it as everything is just thrown at him like that. Basically it's a mess. I chose to buy this rather than having a large bag of cotton cartridges taking up space. This is a very powerful piece. The lid must be attached. It doesn't come off easily even if I knock it off the table with a hair dryer. My only complaint is that it isn't higher to accommodate more cotton swabs. It fits about 3/4 of a standard bag. I can push the whole bag into the dispenser; However, the rounds don't come out that easily one after the other. This is a great purchase, just wish it was bigger. Still recommend this to anyone who wants to organize things.
