It took me a while to decide on a NOAA radio and there are plenty to choose from but I finally bought this triangular shaped NOAA radio because of the form factor is very practical. Volume is high on the FM and AM bands and very decent on the NOAA band, and all of those NOAA weather signals are weak anyway, so don't expect them to sound loud and clear. This radio appears to be very durable and very easy to use. The keys are large, the grip is solid and smooth, and both work well. My only tip for a future release is that the buttons should be backlit as they are invisible in the dark and you cannot save channels. Overall I am very happy with the radio, a great purchase in my book.
