This device does what it says on the tin and does it well. My desktop graphics card has 3 DP and 1 HDMI (I have four monitors). This box and other reviews clearly state that whatever goes in the box should be the same. Now I checked it. I connected both DPs from my laptop and one DP and one HDMI from my desktop and the switch works fine for all DP cables but HDMI didn't work at all. I switched to make my desktop drive two DP's in this unit. Now everything works fantastic! This product is great, just make sure you understand this caveat. I read it, I decided I wasn't sure I believed it, and now I do! They said exactly what should be and I suggest paying attention to the limitations presented by the company.
