So I got this headset and I love it, now my wife and kids don't have to tell me to put down my scanner. Then came the reality. I hooked it up to my radio, turned up the volume, and soon the volume was high. What is the problem? I heard CLEARLY everything around me, my wife, children. This headset was so quiet that at volume 5 my TV muted the scanner. I had a clear conversation with my wife when it was on full volume. The fit was poor, doesn't clog your ears so you can hear everything around you. I'll definitely be returning them for now and getting something better.
