This is a good product but poorly executed. A nice feature is that the cylindrical bars are finished in matte black. However, on the device I received, some of the supports had a narrow band of shiny metal showing where the notches had been made. Plastic discs inserted between supports and shelves do not cover these edges. Some of the poles were sloppily cut and had torn edges, rendering them unusable. The manufacturer should have noticed that. The black glass shelves also appear to be painted underneath. The paint either didn't apply or fell off some shelves. This too should have been noticed at the factory. Finally, the holes in the shelves were carelessly drilled and had chipped edges. Although the holes will be covered up after assembly, this is another sign of shoddy manufacture.
