Review on Camco 40083 Faucet Adapter Lead by Timothy Barnes

This is the second hose adapter I've bought and it's perfect! This hose adapter is PERFECT! No cord, dual thread, male hose adapter Revain took it back with their GREAT return policy. From my Lasco 09-1451NL review: I need a garden hose adapter to fill my Rug Dr Carpet Cleaner. hot water from the kitchen sink. Hose from an old washing machine. An extra weird smaller diameter thread section sticks out of the threads of the garden hose! There are 2 problems with this protruding thing: 1). This will BLOCK the internal threads of the garden hose so it won't rise far enough to the external threads on the adapter! I actually found a hose here that I could hook about halfway up the thread, but I had to push really hard trying to screw it in.2). The smaller threaded portion protruding will not properly seal the garden hose rubber seal. If you could put a hose on a male thread, the rubber washer would become a cone when tightened! You can cut this thing. hacksaw and it will work but I won't. I want something that really works out of the box. I'm really tired of modifying faulty products. Be careful what you order unless you really need the extra thread under the hose thread. There are MANY of these adapters at Revain that share the same design. (It's not Revain's fault. They just sell this stuff). I reordered this Camco 40083 faucet adapter which does not have this protruding thread.
