Camco 40083 Faucet Adapter Lead Review

that I feared when I bought it because the product I ordered before didn't fit. hook it up to a garden hose so I can mop the porch. A big plus is that the section that connected to the faucet was both male and female. The kitchen faucet area initially leaked, but I put in a used washing machine (not included) and all was fine. Happy with the purchase! The product feels durable and doesn't feel cheap.

The description does not match the actual dimensions. It doesn't create an airtight/watertight connection at the hose connector side and is therefore utterly useless when trying to avoid water getting all over the kitchen. Not what I would recommend if you are installing a reverse osmosis filter or just hooking up a hose to the kitchen sink. This item is also extremely expensive for inferior metal. And good luck unscrewing it from the hose once you screw it in. There's no place to unscrew it…

This is a neat little thing that every van owner needs when they have the tedious task of cleaning out their recovery tank. I bought it so I could hook it up to the water lines directly from the sink in our camper's bathroom using a short hose and toilet wand.
