Excellent fabric dye kit. Colors are vibrant, new colors are easy to mix, and Titanium White can be added to create lighter shades. I wanted to use it to paint Halloween images on a pair of shoes and a white dress. I had no issues with the shoes but wasn't sure if the color would work on the dress as it's a light polyester blend so I tried the inside of the hem first. It worked very well although I don't know how it will hold up to washing (I plan to hand wash as the fabric is quite delicate). I used a large brush and colors diluted with water to create a shadowy background. and then used smaller brushes and bolder colors to create the actual design. The ink doesn't really penetrate the fabric and doesn't run, so the contours don't run. I used a light touch so the paint wasn't in clumps that would just peel off. I'm very happy with how well my idea turned out and I'm sure that once my shoes are finished (I'm still designing) there will be quite a bit of paint left over for other projects. The current price of $29.99 for a set of 24 colors seems very reasonable and I think kids will enjoy it a lot, using these colors or using them as the basis for a family activity.
