Review on 🎧 Sony MDRXB400IP/AP EX Headphones for iPod/iPhone/iPad - Discontinued by Manufacturer: Premium Sound Experience by William Gildea

It's clear why Sony discontinued these headphones. You sound terrible! I just got them in the mail, opened them up and plugged them into my iPad to listen. The sound is very dull and heavy! It sounds like everything is very far away and like they are another cover over the ear pads, making the sound very muddy and fuzzy. I wasn't expecting five star sound quality from a pair of 30.00 headphones, but I did expect to be able to hear cleaner sound. I am extremely disappointed. I ONLY bought to listen to audiobooks and relaxing tracks in bed as I sometimes fall asleep with headphones on. I have a couple of much higher end phones that I use for music and another couple of better Sony phones that I wear earpads on. Like I said, I didn't expect them to perform like top phones, but my grandson's 10.00 phones sound a lot cleaner. It was a terrible waste of 30.00, so disappointed. I'm not even sure I can return them since I opened them.
