Review on VIVO 500ft Cat5e Ethernet Cable CABLE-V002 - Grey Bulk Wire, UTP Pull Box by Michael Bressler

Like an idiot I didn't open the cable to inspect the strands before use. I ran it all the way through my house in the attic and down the walls. After hours of installation I finally got around to hitting. Instead of orange/orange-white and brown/brown-white threads, this product has 2 orange threads with orange-white and another shade of orange-white. Pooh! Now I have to determine the best guess and then check the cable each time to see which strands have been punched back. Extremely unpleasant! And of course it's not something I can just pull out and use a better cable! If you are looking for CAT5/6 cables, skip this product! Don't believe the pictures on the product page! Pay a few bucks more for a better quality wire and test the strands BEFORE you run the wires!
