This elevated pet bed is awesome in that the base fabric allows much of the dirt to fall through the holes during the day. During our last trip I didn't even bother putting on the fabric because my dog was so dirty.The dirt brushes off easily. I love that it is basically one piece, just like a camp chair. It doesn't take up any more space in the storage compartment than what a camp chair does. I can easily move it around where I need to, because it is so light. I can easily fold it up and set it aside if I need the floor space in my camper.I benefit from this more than the dog does. He doesn't actually choose to sit/lay on it, unless I ask him to. I have him use it when we are outside, because the loose dirt in our camping areas causes him to get major dusty. Having him use this, I don't have to clean up as much dirt inside the camper.
