Game Changer as a GPU Revolution

In the heat of the PS5 and XSX demonstrating the performance of ultra-fast PCIe4.0 M.2 SSDs, I decided that in my next build I'd use all the classic mechanical hard drives would completely drop SATA. SSDs in favor of this new M.2 SSD norm closest I could handle. I needed to find a very large, very fast storage medium at a reasonable price. Enter the Sabrent Rocket Q4. I designed my build from scratch with 6GB of storage, using three of the 2TB versions of that exact drive. I can't adequately express the impact of the Sabrent Rocket Q4's amazing 4800Mbps read and 3600Mbps write speeds on a PCIe4.0 board! I was amazed at the quality of life change that offers almost no loading time! I've beaten Crysis 2 with load times under 10 seconds, as well as Doom Eternal and many classic RPGs that are almost instantaneous, maximizing my precious and extremely limited game time instead of staring at loading screens! Last time I tested the basic technology. A shift of that magnitude happened in 1998 when Quake 2 came out and demonstrated the first color lighting with 3Dfx, an act that eventually allowed 3D to catch up with 2D and far surpass it. The wow effect was immediately noticeable and I feel the same about these wonderful CDs! For the rest of the build, I paired a 3-slot M.2 2280 board (Gigabyte x570 AORUS Master with Ryzen 9 3900XT) with 32GB. RAM and currently a GTX 1070ti (in my future RTX 3080) with 32GB DDR4-3600 to fit under my Noctua NH-D15 cooler. Having storage so fast that it could potentially run out of RAM is mind boggling and a clear testament to progress today! Overall this is an absolutely amazing investment and I am completely satisfied! I highly recommend these discs to experience the same joy!

Pros
  • All Sabrent SSDs come with FREE Sabrent Acronis True Image for Sabrent software for easy cloning. For those who need a specific sector size for cloning existing SSDs, the recently released Sabrent utility allows users to reformat a Rocket drive and select the sector size of their choice: 512 bytes or 4KB.
