Difficult to calibrate

Maybe I'll try to use it for something other than what it was designed for. I have a vacuum truck and I wanted to use it because when I put in bad gas or diesel at a gas station I get a readout of how many gallons. I don't have the correct calibration yet and don't know if I can as it will have a vacuum on it. It also looks like the plastic fan will rip apart if dirt gets inside. The time will show.
