no more hard plastic for my little ones

I have six cats, all large. They started struggling with hard straps (imagine using all 4 legs to hold on) even though they were the right size. This is my first experience with a sling and to be honest I had low expectations. I change and I don't look back. This stretcher arrived in plastic and stank upon opening. The smell will be gone after 24 hours, but you should open and air it out before using. It turned out to be a lot smaller than I expected - fewer plastic containers that I use. I put it on the floor and to my surprise the cats come in and out on their own. No more fighting to get them in. Two actually started using it as a cat bed - to lie in and take in the world around them. The second thing I noticed was how much more air is in there. The sides and top are made of thick mesh for breathability. The bottom is rigid, one side is plastic and the other is non-woven. I like that I can flip it as needed: hard side up for those who get nauseous on the go, fluffy side up for those who like to snuggle up. There are two short carry handles and a shoulder handle. All seams are fine. sewn, zippers work smoothly and do not jam. I couldn't find any manufacturing defects. I don't know how long it will last, but it's definitely a plastic media upgrade. Made in China.
