Modifications made it ideal for carrying a single camera in the middle of the body.

I've been looking for a camera strap that will allow me to carry a camera in the middle of my body for over a year. I was ready to give up and buy an exceedingly expensive leather model. However, I decided to try a cheaper item to see if the strap would actually relieve the pressure on my shoulder and neck nerves. Also, I prefer to carry my camera just below my waist rather than on my side. Being short, most straps on the market are too big and cannot be adjusted for a comfortable fit or my preferred wearing position. if it can work. I am happy to report that the change has been successful and that the harness is extremely comfortable. CHANGES: To allow the harness to be used as a single camera harness, I removed the plates that are meant to screw into the bottom of the camera. I then used carabiners to hook onto small rings that I put on my camera straps. Because carabiner clasps tend to loosen but still won't open and my camera could fall off, my husband put Lock-Tite on the carabiner's threads. He used the blue variety but then wiped it off so I could still pick the locks. If he hadn't, they would have been too stiff for me to remove the strap from the camera. Because the belt is cheaper, you need to do preventive maintenance. The strapping of the shoulder pads ends with a raw edge at the bottom front edge of the pads. I sewed this area up and down with a tight zigzag stitch and had no more fraying issues. The clips don't hold at all unless you thread some of the extra straps through them after adjusting the straps. You can then trim off some of the excess belt and neaten the edges to keep them from fraying. I will definitely continue to use this very comfortable and affordable camera strap and have recommended it to several of my friends who have similar camera carrying issues. on the collar.
