Review on Chandelier Industrial Pendant Lighting Farmhouse by Derrick Milkie

This is a great lantern for the money but the manufacturer has to use a different color when painting the wooden part of this lantern. It was a very "wrong" wood color, so I painted it (including the metal accents around it "slightly") dark walnut and it looked 100% better. The house we bought had the power supply in the middle of the dining area, but I wanted the table to be offset to allow for a sideboard, so we had to run an extra chain to hang it off-center on the power supply (didn't ideal, but looks ok ). All in all this is a great light for $. My husband said there were almost no installation instructions, so he didn't even use them. If you buy I would definitely consider painting it, you will like it much more. The sender responds very quickly to emails and questions. To add some info, what I noticed in other people's photos is that they didn't straighten the cords after wrapping them around their tree and they all look fidgety (maybe that's how they liked them) but The cords are adjustable and very easy to wrap around the tree to the length you want and then straighten it out slightly with a little work which I think looks a lot better.
