Excellent grip - my new rating
I love them for my two year old. We go hiking together and she often slips and falls on loose surfaces, but the support in these shoes is unreal! She can climb and run almost anywhere and her shoes won't slip out from under her. They are a little tighter than other shoes of the same size but I bought them large to allow for growth and they fit perfectly. I would say buy a size up!
