Using two Mac utilities I'm still unsure if the 3 units I received have now been converted to Mac format. The first indication that the drive was formatted for MS-DOS came when my attempt to rename the drive produced an error message stating that the new name was not acceptable because it contained some non-alphabetic characters (a single characters β’) and was too long. For real. My first utility refused my erase and reformat request because it couldn't unmount the drive. My second utility was able to delete it, but I'm not sure which format works now. If there are any issues I will update this review in time to shorten the deadline for returning flash drives for a refund.
