2 stars because it doesn't work without modification. I am a trained mechanic. The plastic top needs to attach to the inside of the 1/2" extension without slipping, they do this with a spring and o-ring, this also doesn't work because the o-ring is too thin or the spring is too tight thin is too weak or both. This will give you very inaccurate readings and can seriously damage your motor. I'll either fit a heavier spring or a thicker ring. I don't mind, but thought others should know.
