Unreliable torque wrench

According to my experience, this torque wrench is incredibly inaccurate and has resulted in incorrect measurements multiple times, leading to faulty repairs.

Cons

Large head bolt torque controller

I bought this because my 2011 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi has a 3 step head tightening sequence and the third is 90Β°, you cannot turn the key 90Β° under the hood, so you can use this dial gauge so you can use the ratchet and keep going until you get 90Β°.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Must be modified before use! FEAR!

2 stars because it doesn't work without modification. I am a trained mechanic. The plastic top needs to attach to the inside of the 1/2" extension without slipping, they do this with a spring and o-ring, this also doesn't work because the o-ring is too thin or the spring is too tight thin is too weak or both. This will give you very inaccurate readings and can seriously damage your motor. I'll either fit a heavier spring or a thicker ring. I don't mind, but thought others should know. Hope this

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Periodicity
