Bought this item for $23. Actullay picked up 6 of them. All had the latest firmware and are all solid regular routers from G. Airlink and Airlink101 are OEMs and you will find their components in many more expensive brands. I was surprised by both the features and the performance. This is a good buy and I expect a firmware update when I buy it. As with any router, ALWAYS CHECK the DSLREPORTS hardware forums @ < [.] > before purchasing or upgrading hardware to connect.
