It had insanely good reviews and prices. Bought an iPhone for my daughter. She needed a transparent case that she could design herself. My husband put it on her phone and commented on how cheap it looked. I insisted it got great reviews and all that mattered was if it did the job. A week after it was placed on her phone, she dropped it in the school hallway. The case didn't protect her phone. The front of her phone shattered. I took the phone to Apple for a replacement and was told the case would not protect their phone. They explained that it had almost no cover on the side of the phone to protect it if it fell face down. Bought there, after many drops, no problems. Protect your phone by buying a good case. I should have trusted my common sense, but I took the risk. I'm not sure how it got such great reviews. Maybe it's just not good for kids who are rougher on their phones.
