Pros: Looks good! The frame is strong, the sand does not stick together. Cons: When I unpacked the hourglass, it fell out of the foam pads that held it between the wooden frame. I managed to put it back in place, but felt like I was about to break it by pushing it into place. I also measured the hourglass several times and it was 20 minutes and 50 seconds plus/minus a second or two.
