Review on 🌬️ HNYWELL Wick FILTR HW500: Unleashing Pure Air Prowess by Brandon Plowden

Filters work very well and at a good price

I experimented when I bought this brand (Best Air) for my Honeywell humidifier because I was disappointed with the Honeywell brand filter. My decision turned out to be a very good one since not only is it half the price of the Honeywell brand (with the blue stripe) which tends to slow down fogging after just two weeks, this best air filter works better overall. With the Honeywell brand, when the filter slows down, water simply accumulates in the tank and sump for several days, creating unsanitary conditions. Apparently the folks at Honeywell changed the thickness of their proprietary filter a while back and calculated the same as before, hoping people wouldn't notice. The new thinner filter doesn't work as well as the previous version. The Best Air brand is an all-in-one multi-brand filter with a metal mesh on the outside instead of blue and is thicker than the new Honeywell version. To my surprise, this wick filter is still filtering water even after two weeks. Unlike the Honeywell filter, the water in this filter evaporates from the tub without slowing down. The price is right too. I will buy this brand again. Just so everyone knows, to keep the entire machine clean, regularly replace the ProTec cleaning cartridge (every two months) that goes into the water tank and wick filter (once a month), and clean the bowl and tank (weekly).
