First of all, I have bad luck with shoes and I usually realize what strikes me after I have them after the return period. They are different as it immediately seems they are made for my odd legs. No adjustment is required and I always have to add an insole, at least with other shoes. That pale red color isn't gross either, and in the summer they're paired with all my dark and light pants. I say summer because it's a light shoe that probably won't keep your feet warm. But your feet won't sweat in them when it's hot outside. I will say they are slippery on my wooden floors at home but so far they are fine on the street. I have yet to test them in rainy weather and on my skateboard. But that's what's really cool about them, because they look just as good on a skateboard in ripped blue jeans as they do on a dockworker during a day's work. I may need to take a closer look at the Hey Dude lineup for another season.
