I have an 8 month old Havanese. She is full of energy and unfortunately I am not. She displayed boredom and anxiety most of the time which was compounded by a very difficult time with her teething - the worst I've seen in a puppy. The weather has meant that we have further increased her boredom and anxiety as she hasn't come out to drain some of her endless energy. I bought this collar before she was neutered in hopes it would help her settle down for a week to 10 days of recovery. On the first day there was a drastic change in her and now 12 days have passed and she is still showing a very positive reaction. Before she was collared, she never liked to be petted or cuddled. She spent time with me on the bed, tearing up pillows, sheets, blankets. Now she snuggles up to me to take 2 or 3 naps a day and a simple "no" solves my problems with tearing the sheets. I've been working on getting them to stop unwanted behavior and reward good behavior with very little results. Everything I've tried to teach her over the last 6 months seems to have come together now. We still have issues here and there, but her excessive barking, licking, crying is almost gone. Now she even comes most of the time when she's called. I think that collar calmed her fear and allowed her to be the dog she had always been through all that fear. I have just ordered 3 packs and plan to use them as long as they continue to work as they have always done which hopefully will last a very long time.
