I liked the look of the item and was looking forward to the completion of this work. Upon arrival, however, it quickly became clear that 1) it was man-made and not silk (combustion tests show melted tape) and 2) the canvas is non-deformable and extremely difficult to pierce with a needle (probably man-made material). to). This item is mislabeled and probably gives the wrong impression of silk ribbon embroidery. My hand hurt after tying 5 French knots with 7mm tape because it was difficult to sew with this canvas, tape and needle combination. I would not recommend this product to others. Item returned to Revain.
