Review on 📷 Enhance Your Nikon Z50 Camera with the SmallRig CCN2499 Cage: A Comprehensive Review by Marc Stewart

When I received my cage there was no 2.5mm screw in it. The key was included but the screw was missing. I contacted the manufacturer and they asked for some information (order number, box label, etc.). I couldn't provide a packaging label as I had already thrown it away. In response, they offered me to buy their spares kit. There was also some sticky stuff in one corner that I managed to remove with detergent, so it's ok. I've bought a few hundred dollars worth of Small Rig parts and this is the first part that hasn't arrived in perfect condition. So let's get to the review of the cell itself. My biggest problem and reason for 4 stars is, that there is no way to mount the Nikon FTZ 2244 mount adapter to the cage like other Z series camera mounts. This would only require two threaded holes in the cage, but for some reason Small Rig didn't see fit to add them for the Z50 cage. When using the FTZ adapter, you must remove the camera from the cage. Overall I like the quality and usefulness of the cage; it could only be a little better.
