Review on Nordic Ware Microwave Bacon Defroster by Jim Ball

I had something similar growing up and wanted one for myself but the bowl and lid I bought was much smaller. I take responsibility if I didn't pay attention to the size, which is clearly stated in the description. I will not leave a bad review for my oversight. The baking sheet is 9.25 x 9.25 and the thick-cut bacon I use is 11 inches so you can make 1 strip diagonally or 2 strips if you cut it in half. For one person it would be good. Very easy to wash - hand wash only. I like having a lid so the fat doesn't splatter all over the inside of the microwave. I haven't had any blistering or tablet burning issues as some other reviewers have noted and have used it a few times. I wonder if they could put it in the dishwasher before using it. I only hand wash anything that normally has a non-stick surface. If I need to cook a large batch of bacon, I still use the oven. If you are only cooking for one then I would have no hesitation in recommending this.
