lid does not lock closed!

the tops just pop right off even after you click close the lock. might be air-tight?, when firmly on top with lock in place, but can be easily opened without unlocking! dumped rice all over my kitchen when i lifted the jar from the top, while transferring it to a cupboard! stick with OXO.
