Suitable for dogs with a solid color coat.
I bought this for my one haired dog who sheds a lot. It works mostly on static electricity, which he doesn't really like, but it allows me to clean it when he's in the mood. The only downside is that it's a little big for my 13 lb dog, but as it's a horse brush that's to be expected. It's hard to clean, but I use a knitting needle to get most of the hair out, then run the brush under the faucet.
