While visiting a relative I had the opportunity to use the large lemon squeezer recommended by the cooking show. I liked the idea, but I was a little afraid that the plastic parts would break. This juicer had three pluses in my opinion. It was shorter and I assumed it was easier to store. It also had a claimed cup diameter of 2.9" versus 3.3" for the other. Finally, it's 100% stainless steel, not plastic coated. It arrived and I started using it. Obviously someone forgot how to measure or used a broken ruler. The diameter of the cup is almost the same as the one I compared to. Lost one of the competition points. It's shorter (from the handle) which means you'll need more power if you want to get the most out of your juice. For me this is not a problem, for the rest of the household - no. And indeed, in its ability to squeeze all the juices, it is inferior to what my relative introduced me to. The final nail was the price. The same or even a little more than my relative. I cannot recommend this lemon squeezer just because it is 100% stainless steel.
